French Tax-Payers May Have To Pay 5 Million For Two Ships

Mistral ships left in France are going rack up a hefty upkeep which will demand 5 million Euros, monthly, from French tax-payers.

France failed to 'post' two Mistral-class helicopters to Russia, now a price must be paid. A big one.

Mistral Ships remaining in France are gaining a blood-boiling upkeep mostly due to security, tax-payers in France will be demanded to pay 5 million Euros every month.
This isn't all! - France will have to pay a fine for delaying the delivery as well as the payment back to Russia who had vessels lined up, costing 890 million Euros.

Statement Made By Jean-Dominique Merchet (French Defense Columnist) :

"We have absolutely no idea just how big this fine is going to be, but we believe it will be somewhere between 500 million euros and 5 billion."

Russia are also demanding compensation for the cost to send their Navy to safely take in the Mistrals.
