Jose Luis Garza Alvarez (CEO) declares that Mexican Interjet will buy SSJ-100 planes from Russia.
Mexican Internet approves the investment of 10 Russian-made plans, announced by the CEO. The SSJ-100 is a short-haul passenger airliner, created by the Sukhoi company in Russia.
Statement made by Jose Luis Garza Alvarez (13/2/15) (CEO of Interjet) :
"The decision was made by the company's board of directors"
Signing of the delivery for the 10 SSJ-100 planes will take place in Venice, some time next week according to Garza. This order is more of a gift - an addition to the purchase of the 20 SSJ-100 planes previously.
- Interjet has received 12 out of the 20 planes, last plane being received during December, 2014. The Last eight are expected to be obtained in 2015, some time around July.
